AmericInn by Wyndham Pequot Lakes/Jenkins

This was my second time staying at this hotel during a hockey tournament at Breezy Point Sports Center. The staff is super friendly and why I came back. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was satisfactory with enough options. The breakfast attendant kept it very clean. They have a large conference room we used last year. This year another team had it all weekend, but it's great to hang out. Pool was clean and they have a sauna and pool table within. Would highly recommend this hotel over the resort You save a lot of money and you're only 10 minutes from the rink. They also recommended the A Pine restaurant next door. Ended up eating there twice.

I have stayed in similar hotels in the area, and this hotel, hands down, is the very best! I will never go back to any of the other hotels, even if I have to drive a little further The bedding is very up to date, nice thick mattress’s that are comfortable and the hotel as a whole is so clean. Up to date TV’s too. The staff are always friendly and helpful. AND there is a great “ Ma and Pa’s” Restaurant just across the street that is very walkable. Their food is homemade ! They are known for their chicken and pies.

I cannot wait to return to this AmericInn!! I have not one complaint! We were treated so kindly and respectfully by all the staff members. Our room was so clean, quiet, and cozy, with log furniture and decor to resemble a cabin. The breakfast area was clean, with the option to sit outdoors on the patio overlooking the beautiful flower gardens. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious with a nice variety. Such a beautiful place! We will definitely be repeated customers!

Went here for our anniversary. I'm very picky about hotels and this one was perfect. Cozy atmosphere with fireplace in lobby and giant fish tank with colorful fish. Little store with sweatshirts, sodas,chips, and you can buys pizzas there which they will cook for you. Great pool room with the best hot tub ever! Warm, giant tub, and jets that are actually strong. Also appreciate the artwork on the walls of the lake scene with loons and the pool table. The grounds are beautiful with tall pines, a kids playground, horseshoes, volleyball, firepit and lawn chairs. Also a mini golf place next to it( which is closed for the season) beds are comfortable and we got the suite with giant jacuzzi and gas fireplace, didn't want to leave! We will definitely come back next year! We also had come here in the summer and the little patio area with tables,chairs and a grill was very nice, loved the archway with beautiful flowers(not sure what kind, honeysuckle maybe? And other potted plants, very pretty and peaceful area to sit and have breakfast. The owners of this hotel know what they are doing!

This hotel was outstanding in so many ways. It is very clean and friendly. We stayed here for 10 nights. We had three very large dogs and the manager made are stay perfect by giving us a suite at the end of the first floor. That made it very easy to walk the pups. They have a hot tub and a pool that are very well kept. We also had a hot tub in our suite. Highly recommended. Make sure you visit the the Apine Restaurant just across the entrance road from the hotel. We also had great parking for our camper.

We haven’t stayed here in a handful of years, and were pleasantly surprised with minor remodeling and upgrades. Rooms were fresh, clean, modern and quiet. Staff were friendly and professional. We didn’t take the breakfast, but saw there was powdered eggs, bacon, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, waffles, cereal, muffins, doughnuts. Fun fish tank in the lobby. Nice up north decor. It was pricey as is everything up here for a good place. We would stay here again.

Very pleasantly surprised, but we are not too hard to please. A friendly smile, a TV that was simply to use, overall nice room, and the breakfast was excellent. A loaf of bread with a toaster and individual boxes of cereal seem to be the new standard for "Complimentary Breakfast" but this did not disappoint. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage links, breakfast potatoes, build your own waffles, breads, muffins, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee, milk and juices. All of that in a nice little Cafe setting looking out to bird feeders and a beautiful view of nature. If we are in the area, we'll definitely stay again!

We have stayed at the American Inn several times and every time the rooms are great, the service is exceptional and is it perfect location for us. What is really awesome is that they have many activities in that area including a putter on golf Course. I highly recommend staying here when you're visiting the Brainerd Lakes area.
